Day 11: Love Cares & Encourages

Stoop down and reach out to those who are oppressed. Share their burdens, and so complete Christ’s law. If you think you are too good for that, you are badly deceived.

I’m very empathetic, and even though sometimes it can be excessive, I think it does more of good than bad. In fact, I know it's not a bad thing at all because God is empathetic. I know that when I'm in distress no matter the time of the day he'll be unfailingly there. So it shouldn't be hard for me to give my time, help and understanding to others. Paul says that's how to live creatively.

It’s quite hard for me to pass by when I see someone looking sad or downcast or when I see someone being mistreated. It always grips my heart and I feel terrible. So whenever I have the opportunity, I try to speak words of encouragement to other and fro times when words are not just enough I make a move that shows I care terribly for the person and I'm trying to understand what they are going through even though sometimes I might never understand.

There are days when I feel terribly down and I come to the blog and read an encouraging comment, my mood lights up. I live for those types of days. So I understand the power of a word of encouragement and how far it can go.

Jesus Created with words, Led with words, Changed lives and healed with words. Words give life [Proverbs 18:21]. Love is life.

Today's task is all about Loving lavishly. We are going out of our way to be selfless, not just today but days after today and hopefully the long haul having in mind that it's not only touching those we show love to, but it's going to have a ripple effect, creating an extended family that becomes an experience of the true community/state/Country that we long for. Gary Chapman said when we Love, sacrifice becomes a way of Life, selflessness is how to show true care and its those selfless moments that really blesses others and impresses God.

1.      Tell someone they matter to the world
2.      Write words of encouragement in notecards and leave them in random places for people to see
3.      Give something away
4.      Tell someone God loves them like crazy!
5. Encourage someone in any other way you feel like, be on the lookout for ways you can bring relief and rescue to others as the spirit leads because Love can help heal in ways doctors cannot.

Give Love at its best without expecting a reward, this way you'll enjoy loving more and rewards would definitely come but you will not be attached to them [*Unconditional Love*]
