Day 7: Connect to the main source of Love

Ephesians 5:1

Mostly what God does is Love you, Keep company with Him and learn a life of Love

1 John 4:8

"He who does not love does not know God because God is love."

I used to live a life filled with insecurities and constant need of love from a man, it was always from one guy to another jumping from one sin to the next. I completely ignored the love of God. 

God finally gave me the grace to let go and I found myself single and not ready to mingle till He says so, He taught me that all I have to do is surrender to Him and love Him unconditional and every other thing will fall into place at the right time

Roman8:28          

"And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose"

I learnt how to love myself, my family, my friends, I also learnt how to give out of love, have faith in love and to trust in love but most of all He taught me how to be JOYFUL and SATISFIED with the everlasting love He has provided for me.

God wants you to live a fulfilled life, He wants to be the pioneer of your joy. He will take care of your heart if you let Him, you ought not to limit yourselves to love people that can't love you back except you lose your morals. Please note that the problem here is not having a man it's having a man that replaces the position of God in your life and entertaining sexual sin.  

God is the main source of love so surround yourself with God's love and walk around knowing GOD IS IN LOVE WITH YOU!

Proverbs 8:17

"I love those who love me and those who seek me diligently will find me."

Day 7: Connect to the main source of Love

I had another post planned for today but I woke up to an email from a friend. She told me she had been following the posts and wanted to share her own Love story anonymously as prompted by the spirit so I told her to send it. 

As soon as she did and I read it, I knew I had to post it today because so many of us need to read this. It also correlated with the scripture the Holy Spirit directed me to yesterday night so I knew this was no coincidence. 

My blogger friend Itunu wrote a whole post [Read Here] on how the meaning of true love is not hidden in between the lines of "All of me by John Legend" [or any other secular Love song]. The true meaning of Love is hidden in God. 

After my last relationship, I made myself understand that I can't get into another one until I'm overly sure that my Love for that person would not take the place of God's Love and that decision has been worth it so far. These days, people look for love in all the wrong places especially when it comes to relationship with the opposite sex and when that love hurts or does not satisfy we conclude that Love hurts because we don't know the true source of Love. God is a jealous God and a Love that is not complete in Him can never work.

The fact that human Love is so fickle cannot be overemphasized. It is so shallow and if we keep relying on human beings [friend, boyfriend, girlfriend, wife, husband, family etc] or material things for love there's always going to be a void that only God's Love can fill. 

Only God can fill our hearts with a love so amazing. 
Only God would Love us not to get Love in return
Only God would still love us when our love turns to lust setting off a downhill into filthy habits
Only God can hold us up from falling so fast 
Only God's Love can reach out to us when no one else would.
When we experience the breadth, test the lengths and plumb the depths of God's Love. we would be full again. Full in His fullness
He does not Just Love much, He Loves well. He looks past out faults and sees our needs. He will never give up
His Love is not contaminated, its simply Love at its best. It is the only example of true love we'll ever need.
It is only in Him we can experience Love; His Love maketh not afraid or paranoid or anxious. 
Now we can go ahead and Love because he loved us first.

The whole point of this post is to let you know that only The Love of God can satisfy so you have to consciously connect to it.
