Prisoner of Hope || Child of Grace Zecheriah 9:12

I have days when I pretend to be fearless and some other days I can't even get past a second without a rush of anxiety but what keeps me going on those kind of days is HOPE in God

Return to your fortress, you prisoners of hope; even now I announce that I will restore twice as much to you. - Zech 9:12

Fortress here represents "stronghold"  Psalm 18:2-4 

People call it being optimistic, but I know its so much more than that. Its  a HOPE that maketh not ashamed [See Romans 10] Its a HOPE that restores double. [Isa 61:7]

Optimism can let you down and you'll lose HOPE but HOPE helps you to build faith that welcomes God into your life.  HOPE trusts God to shape right living into us. 

I know what I’m doing. I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for. -Jer 29:11

God  has plans for people who HOPE in Him 

God  has plans for people who are joyful even in hard times and believe that He has overcome them for you. -John 16:33

God has plans for those who Love Him regardless of their circumstance 1 Corinthians 2:9 

How to stay Hopeful. 

Be Affirmative

Being affirmative is having the kind of  hope that says "I CAN"

Confessing positively into your Life and actions would boost your HOPE greatly. 

Relax and Prepare
You want a new phone? , buy a phone case even when you don't have the money for the phone yet, you are expectant for a job? , prepare for the job position even when you haven't gone for the interview, whatever you are believing God for, prepare for it in advance and act like its already a part of your life before you even get results. 

I'm still learning to quit worrying. Truth is I believe God is in control and I stay calm when I'm going through stuff but most time I still end up worrying because for some reason I start thinking maybe if I worry a little, God would answer faster, but I've come to understand that it's just the devil trying to get in my head.  Issues would pass eventually. All things are possible if you just believe (stay hopeful). 

 If you don't rejoice (if you are not hopeful) through your trials, you can't see God intervene. 

When you pray and ask God for something, even if everything falls apart, smile, be happy, be at peace, be hopeful because Anxiety over what you cannot control would mess with your personal peace. 


"Jesus, once more deeply moved, came to the tomb. It was a cave with a stone laid across the entrance.  “Take away the stone,” he said.“But, Lord,” said Martha, the sister of the dead man, “by this time there is a bad odor, for he has been there four days.”  Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?"
